Bob Conrad is the author and illustrator of the book "Bob Conrad's Great
Americans", which highlights the lives of several great Americans including;
Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, Betsy Ross, Paul Revere and others.
The research that went into that book was the inspiration for this program.

A magical look at the history book, this program is an exciting
introduction to early American history, using magic, puppets , and
ventriloquism .
Your students will learn about:

  • America’s beginnings and the people that shaped our nation,
including Captain John Smith, Ben Franklin, George
    Washington .
  • The Real Story of Uncle Sam.
  • What our Flag stands for.
  • King George III of England.
  • Paul Revere’s ride.
  • Betsy Ross and the flag.

This interactive program is presented in a fun, light-hearted
manner that will give your students a new perspective on
American History. Bob Conrad makes learning fun!

Listen to what they say !

Bob Conrad, of Conrad Productions  presented his American History Magic Show at our
library this summer.  This was far more than a magic show.  Bob is a man of many talents.
He is a teacher, an entertainer, a ventriloquist, a magician and a very nice guy, who comes
across with a warm sense of humor that captivates his audience.  There were 93 children
and 60 parents who came to see Bob's American History Magic show.  Everyone enjoyed
the show immensely.  After the production, many parents asked me if we could have Bob
come back to do another show. I promised them we would invite Bob Conrad back, to do
another entertaining history production.  The parents appreciated Bob entertaining their
kids and making history come alive for them. If you invite Bob to your school or library, you
will be happy you did.  He is wonderful.

Thank you for a wonderful assembly.  The children thoroughly enjoyed your American
History Magic show.  The younger grades were thrilled!  I'm sure you heard them roar with
delight at your program!  And to my surprise, the older grades enjoyed the program as well.
They enjoyed the drawing, ventriloquism, and magical way of learning American History.
Thank you for a wonderful program.

On behalf of the Mechanicstown PTO , I would like to thank you for the recent performance
at Mechanicstown Elementary School.  The children and the teachers enjoyed it immensely.
Your performance was very entertaining as well as informative.  It gave the children a
chance to show that they were paying attention in Social Studies class.  I was also in the
audience and enjoyed the show.  The 5th Grade teachers would like to have you back next
year before 5th grade Social Studies exam in the fall. Thank you again.
